Jamaican group formed by 's brother and with and therefore linked to The Pioneers, although George is adamant that he was never in The Slickers. The group is best known for the song Johnny Too Bad, which featured in the movie The Harder They Come. The first release credited to The Slickers, 'Nana', is actually the Pioneers recording as & The Slickers (the Pioneers came up with the name as they were under contract to Beverley's Records).
