Gloria My Generation is the third album by the Patti Smith Group, released in 1979. The album features a mix of original songs and covers, including a powerful rendition of Them's "Gloria." The album opens with "Ask the Angels," a fast-paced rock song that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Smith's vocals are raw and passionate, and the band's energy is infectious.
