The Jørgen Ryg Quartet's album, "I Didn't Know Chloe Gillchrist Ain't Misbehavin," is a delightful collection of jazz standards that showcases the band's virtuosity and creativity. The quartet's interplay is tight and intuitive, with each member contributing their own unique voice to the mix.

The album opens with a swinging rendition of "Exactly Like You," featuring Ryg's fluid guitar lines and Ole Marius Sandberg's playful piano. The band's energy really shines on tracks like "Honeysuckle Rose" and "Sweet Georgia Brown," where they effortlessly navigate tricky rhythms and intricate melodies.

But the quartet also knows how to slow things down and showcase their more introspective side. "I Can't Get Started" is a beautiful ballad that allows Ryg's guitar to really sing, while "I Didn't Know What Time It Was" features a hauntingly beautiful saxophone solo by Petter Wettre.
